After 3 years of planning, Dressed Up launched in September of 2008. Unveiled during Rosemount's Sydney Fashion Festival, Dressed Up received a warm welcome into Australia's fashion scene.

Dressed Up's founder, Serena Ross, was interested in finding a way to make Australian designer fashion more accessible for Australian females. Serena was also looking for a way to save money on show stopping (expensive) gowns that were purchased for special events and then never worn again.

Dressed Up is the first website in Australia dedicated to the hire of designer clothing and features garments for all body types with the majority of styles suited to dressier occasions such as cocktail parties and weddings. All garments hired from the website are gift-wrapped and hand delivered to the customers' door with a pre-paid courier satchel for easy return.

"I have always loved and been fascinated by fashion - the evidence is in my closet and abused bank balance," says Ross. "My closet is a graveyard of dresses that will never be worn again because they are either too dressy or dated."
